How to make egg biryani

Eggs are considered as a superfood

Materials:

2 cups soaked basmati rice

5 boiled eggs [shell removed]

1 cup oil [if required]

2 medium red tomatoes [finely chopped]

2 medium onions [sliced vertically]

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

Half a cup coriander and mint [finely chopped]

1 tsp Red Chilli [ You can use more or less as per taste ]

1 tsp garam masala

Half a teaspoon of turmeric

2 cardamoms

2 cloves

1 to 2 peppers

A small piece of cinnamon

1 tablespoon curd

4 to 5 cashews b

1 tbsp ghee

Salt to taste

Cut a boiled egg with a spoon, sprinkle it with turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, a little salt and curd and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan, fry some chopped onion in it, keep it aside after frying.

In the same pan, combine all the hot spices like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, and onion and saute until golden.

Now add the same ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes and immediately add finely chopped tomato and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Add finely chopped coriander and mint

After 2 to 3 minutes add red chillies and turmeric to it, saute all the mixture for a while and add as much water as required and salt to taste.

When the water boils, add ghee and basmati rice to it, mix all the gins well

Now add the seasoned egg to the rice and let it cook on low flame for 15 to 20 minutes

After 20 minutes, check whether the rice is cooked, once the rice is cooked, gently stir it [make sure that the rice is loose]

Top with fried onion slices and finely chopped coriander [ you can also add fried cashew nuts ]

This is how egg biryani is ready

Serve this egg biryani with raita

This nutritious egg biryani will keep you healthy and energetic

Tip : Adding biryani masala or matan masala to egg biryani makes egg biryani even more delicious.
